RAVE by Flutterwave product launch

10 Jun 2019

The Innovation Hub is hosting a series of #youth entrepreneurial events which will serve as platforms designed for networking opportunities and mediums for market access. RAVE launch is one of these, where The Innovation Hub teams up with Silicon Valley based global payment solutions platform Flutterwave INC. to launch its online product RAVE @RAVE is a product that is solving the challenge of fragmented payments infrastructure on the African continent by providing a solution which allows multiple payment channels to be made and received via a single integration. This distinguishes it from other payment solutions as it allows channel agnostic payments across Africa, and around the world, through one platform which facilitates quick links to global markets. In the process, RAVE provides a solution for one of South African business’ greatest challenges, access to markets. Allowing a one stop solution for payments across multiple African countries and other parts of the globe means merchants are able to make and receive payments with ease.  Flutterwave is a proudly African company that counts Uber, Facebook, Transferwise, Flywire, Booking.Com as clients and has received funding Mastercard, Omidyar Network, Y Combinator as well as other notable Silicon Valley venture firms. Named as Fast Company's second most innovative African business in 2019, Flutterwave designs payment solutions to meet needs specific to the African continent. RAVE’s payment links can be attached to invoices, social media pages, or even shared on Whatsapp, allowing RAVE to tap into the growing consumerism in Africa spurred by increased activity on platforms such as Facebook and Whatsapp. Join us on 10th June at 08h30-11h00 for the launch of Africa's future register here
