The Innovation Hub's active partnerships with the business, government, research and education is integral to our success and is part of an ongoing program to leverage investment, technical capacity, marketing, expertise and information.

The Innovation Hub is a full member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) with access to hundreds of other Science and Technology Parks in over 50 countries. International collaborative relationships provides access to training, mentorship and advice from leading knowledge economy role players world-wide.

The Innovation Hub's Maxum Business Incubator is a full member of the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA) in the US with access to a wealth of information on international best practice in business incubation.

A number of our staff have been nominated to or are serving on Boards and Associations where there is synergy our activities.

Our shareholder

The Gauteng Provincial Government, through Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (Pty) Ltd, provides:

  • Funding to establish the core infrastructure and incubation facilities
  • Strategic direction, in conjunction with other parties
  • Facilitated Government support at local and national levels
  • Access to donor funds, local sources of development finance and other non-Provincial funding sources.
