The Innovation Hub and the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) have had a fruitful relationship for several years, collaborating on projects such as the Gauteng Accelerator Programme (GAP) which has carried many innovations from idea to commercialisation by providing seed funding that entrepreneurs invest in their businesses, offering business support and ensuring that start-ups are incubated in one of The Innovation Hub’s business incubation programmes. On 12th of May 2022, The Innovation Hub Chairperson of The Innovation Hub, Adv Khotso Maja, CEO of The Innovation Hub, Adv Pieter Holl, GM for Skills Development, HR and Partnerships, Mr Tsietsi Maleho, Manager for Partnership: Mr Mpho Mbonani met with the Technology Innovation Agency’s (TIA) Chairperson Ms Matsi Modise and the CEO of TIA, Mr Patrick Krappie. The purpose was amongst others to strengthen The Innovation Hub’s partnership with TIA focusing on promoting township economic development through fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
