Taji- eKasiLabs Soweto Entrepreneur

We take our hat off to founder of Taji, Ofentse Tsipa  Taji is an SMME Organic cosmetics company registered in South Africa and currently incubated at the eKasiLabs Soweto. The eKasiLabs Programme is aimed at promoting the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the township, with specific focus on innovative output in the community, in line with the Township Economy Revitalization Provincial economic strategies.

Taji manufactures and sells hand-made organic whipped shea butter creme, which is the company’s flagship product formulated to deeply moisturize and nourish both hair and skin. Tsipa has also published a book titled 50 Shades of Duku which teaches women about the  50 different ways a headwrap can be styled. Taji is 100% Black and female owned and has managed to provide working opportunities to three employees, often employing temporary staff when the need arises.
