N8TIV Technology, an ICT and tech start up company based in Pretoria incubated at The Innovation Hub Maxum digital programme, has signed a collaboration contract with the Department of Arts and Culture South Africa to launch their unique event browser app, called Groova.
The Groova app is set to launch at the GroovaFest to take place later in the year 2020. The festival will merge performing arts, technology, entertainment, and multiple elements of urban entertainment culture. Throughout the festival there will be various tech touch points showcasing performing Arts Technology, Laser Optics, Virtual Reality and interactive touch screens.
The Groova app provides its users the versatility to search for social events that are uniquely inline with their preferences. The app provides event information including artist line up, a tab to buy tickets and a direct link to Uber to pick you up at your desired location and take you to the event. The app provides a unique marketing opportunity as the platform venues and event organisers to market directly to their target market. The app is cross demographic and aims to promotes social cohesion, whilst simultaneously promoting economic activity by listing local businesses.
N8TIV technologies is looking forward to 2020 as they will be hosting their first technologies in the creative industries conference. The conference aims to bring industry specialist, creative entertainment companies, music agents, artists and companies to inspire collaboration that will transpire into new business ventures.
