Maxum Digital Incubator was operationalised in 2016 and at the time of opening had recruited and incubated fifteen start-up companies predominantly composed of youth and women. In partnership with WITS University, The Innovation Management Company endeavoured to create a space conducive for fostering entrepreneurship in the gaming, animations and virtual reality industry, and this is how Maxum Digital was conceived. Maxum Digital strives to place South Africa as a front runner of gaming, animation and virtual reality by supporting and training entrepreneurs with a passion for the industry
