Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, had previously announced its intentions to have data centres in South Africa to be in Johannesburg. In moving with its plans, Huawei approached XY Analytics an Artificial Intelligence and machine learning solution orientated company that joined the Maxum pre-incubation programme in 2019 to become one of their cloud partners. This happened while XY Analytics was exhibiting at the 2020 African Agritech Conterence in Pretoria.
