EDITOR’S NOTE:

Welcome to the third 2009 edition of our Innovation Hub e-zine: Newsbits.

The signing of an MOA between the Institute of Aviation Medicine and TIH adds impetus to our Aerospace and Defence cluster while the ICT cluster builds momentum through an aggressive expansion program embarked upon by SATRENO. James 1:27 Trust builds a platform to address the needs of OVC Orphans and vulnerable children while Full Marks announces a New Generation Management System. Icexpress Progressive Prosthetics once again bring to the Hub those magical moments that only dreams are made of!

A successful INNOV8 event adds to the precinct ‘value adds’ while Maxum, CoachLab and Activator continue to join hands with other entrepreneurs, international collaborations, and like minded innovators. They say ‘all good things must come to an end’ and although this will always remain a ‘good thing’, the Hub bids farewell to one of its founders; Dr Jill Sawers - a colleague, friend and mentor to many.

A special thanks to our Blue Label members from the INNOV8 community for their support as well as our Knowledge- and Product Partners (details of whom you may find on our website).

‘Keep on innovating’
