Hub has key role in nurturing innovation

In the Hub's latest Annual Report, Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Paul Mashatile, maintains that as one of the original eleven Blue IQ projects the Hub is fulfilling a key role in nurturing commercial and technological innovation. It is therefore integral to successfully transforming Gauteng's economy.

Maxum welcomes first-in-SA cashless public transport commuter payment and rewards solution

Commuter Solutions, a national commuter services company, has introduced their innovative Commuter Card into incubation at the Hub's Maxum Business Incubator. The Commuter Card, a lifestyle card that provides commuters with a cashless public transportation and rewards system, is a first in South Africa.


Sylvean Biotech represents SA in international panel discussion

At the recently held 2007 BioSquare and BioVision Conferences in France, Sylvean Biotech Director, Anton Jordaan, represented the South African Biotechnology industry in a panel discussion on European-South African cooperation in FP7.

Hub's 2007 event focus on celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship
