Hub team members achieve academic accolades

Jill Sawers, Manager of the Maxum Business Incubator, recently completed a PhD in technology management at the University of Pretoria. Her dissertation, entitled How small and medium sized enterprises can influence the successfulness of a partnership with a large company in the technology innovation sector, looked at how smaller companies can effectively position themselves to successfully interact and work with their large counterparts.
Lindsay Prescott, Operations Officer with a specific focus in Marketing, Business Development and Value-added Services of the Hub completed a BTech Honours in Business Information Systems at Tshwane University of Technology and was awarded as the best BTech Business Information Systems student as well as the best BTech Academic Performer in the ICT Faculty for 2006. The graduation ceremony takes place in May this year.
Martin Manmohan, Operations Manager in the Maxum Business Incubator, completed his Master in Business Administrator (MBA) at the North-West University, while Jeanette Morwane, project officer at the Hub, registered for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree with UNISA's School of Business Leadership (SBL) for the three-year distance learning masters degree.
