SAP implementation specialist rebranded as Satreno

Satreno CEO, Kurt Lindoor.
The strategy to broaden the SAP service offering of resident at The Innovation Hub and Business Intelligence specialist, Lejara Enterprise Solutions - a SAP implementation partner, has culminated in the company's rebranding as Satreno.

Formed in 2003 as part of a merger between EPI-USE Financials and Xihlovo Corporate Consulting, Lejara took a stake in Alt-Tab Africa - a SAP consultancy servicing East Africa from its base in Nairobi, Kenya - in mid-2006. In September 2006 it acquired a significant stake in e-learning company, Bridge People & Technology and later that year launched Lejara Change Management.

In April 2007 Lejara bought a significant stake in Optimized Outsourcing Solutions, to help it bolster technical SAP implementation skills. Finally, in June, it merged with Bluestone Consulting, which operates from New Jersey in the USA. Having so many brands in the company's stable resulted in a decision to undertake a rebranding process, and thus Satreno was born. Satreno is an acronym of all the regions in which the company is active - South Africa, Turkey, Ireland and North America.

The different brands incorporated into Satreno have been recognised as leaders in their respective focus areas, with more successful implementations than any of their competitors, resulting in established footprints across various continents. By bringing a whole host of SAP services under one umbrella, Satreno can now mobilise the right people, skills and technologies to help organisations to improve their performance and solve their most pressing challenges.

As a solution-focused, result-orientated management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing organisation, Satreno works with its clients to link business strategy to operational reality, helping them to innovate and grow. The company is committed to practical, measurable and sustainable results; employing an innovative and customer-driven approach to solutions; and building teams of ambitious, passionate and committed people within the organisation.

The success of its expansion effort means that Satreno is now big enough to run its own implementations and end-to-end projects as well as consulting across a wide range of industries. The company's status in the market is also strengthened by the fact that it has recently been appointed as National Service Partner, SAP Africa.

According to CEO, Kurt Lindoor, a core element of Satreno's future focus will be helping organisations to add value to their existing SAP installations. "SAP is a serious financial commitment for any company or organisation and our aim is to get it to work more efficiently and to add to the overall return on investment. This can be done through optimising the technology backbone, optimising the business intelligence, and optimising the supply chain… We see our role as helping organisations to get proper value out of SAP", he says.
