Chartered accountant joins the Hub as CFO

Aveen Rampershad who took up his position as Chief Financial Officer at the Hub in September 2006.

Aveen Rampershad took up his position as Chief Financial Officer at the Hub in September 2006. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has completed a number of interpersonal skills and leadership courses.

Aveen also has extensive experience in the SMME environment as an entrepreneur, having assisted in establishing a company from the written concept stage to a fully-fledged Pty with branches in Durban and Johannesburg.

In addition, he has had nearly a decade of leadership experience, including corporate strategy and business planning. Before joining The Innovation Hub, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance and Administration at the Water Research Commission, covering a broad spectrum of activities from Finance to Logistics and Human Resources.

His interests include investments, charity work, philosophy and education. Aveen, married to Shamantha, enjoys keeping fit and becoming involved in activities related to growth and development.
