New Knowledge Partner in full swing at the Hub

The People Business Group - a company that recognises the power of effective leadership and management - has recently joined The Innovation Hub as a valued Knowledge Partner.

The Hub's Knowledge Partners include companies who give generously of their time to support the efforts of innovators and entrepreneurs. Tenants in the Maxum Business Incubator at the Hub have already benefited from the first of three seminars on effective leadership presented by the People Business Group.

The seminar focused on networking skills, giving participants useful insights into practical networking skills and a sound understanding of the underlying principles that empower a person to consistently apply the skills within a business environment.

The seminar affirmed the importance of networking in building and maintaining relationships with clients, competitors, suppliers, shareholders and other industry players that may impact on the future and profitability of a company.

Future seminar topics will include small business leadership and negotiation skills.

In addition to their interaction with Incubator tenants, the company will also roll out a "Young Leaders Life Skills Development Programme" to the Hub's CoachLab™ students. The aim of the programme is to develop junior management and leadership abilities that help the students gain confidence and the necessary skills to move into a corporate environment with self-assurance and an increased level of professionalism.

The People Business Group have 18 years accumulated expertise in the areas of leadership and management, transformation and general "people in business" matters. In addition they have also been running internships and learnerships for the past six years.
