A novel electricity vending solution has landed Expertron, a company at The Innovation Hub in Pretoria, which is part of the Gauteng Goverment's Blue-IQ initiative, two SPII (the Support Programme for Industrial Innovation) awards from the Department of Trade and Industry.

Hub tenant injects a dose of innovation to biotech industry

Sylvean Biotech, a young and dynamic South African biotechnology company, has launched Sylvean Labs, a Lab Consumables and Custom Synthesis Services division.

SAP SMB solutions provider receives top honours for outstanding innovation
Business Process Support (BPS) - a business excellence consultancy and resident at The Innovation Hub - recently received an award in the 2006 Support Programme for Industrial Innovation (SPII) Awards. The honour was awarded in recognition of outstanding innovation for their SAP ESA project, which was a Top 10 finalist out of 140 qualifying projects.

Incubator company head makes contribution to South African heritage

Mthembeni Mkhize, CEO of TCI Thoreb, has been appointed as the lead exhibition designer of Freedom Park - a Presidential Legacy Project and heritage precinct that will portray South Africa's history and its vision for the future as embedded in the African Renaissance. TCI Thoreb is a tenant in the Maxum Business Incubator at The Innovation Hub.

UNISA becomes a participant in The Innovation Hub's CoachLab™

The success of The Innovation Hub's unique CoachLab™ Leadership Programme was evident again at the 2006 graduation ceremony held recently at the Hub's Conference Venue in Pretoria, where the class of 2006 received their graduation certificates and demonstrated the innovative solutions to real-time ICT projects that resulted from their year in the CoachLab™.

And so to the last collective learning experience for the tenants of The Innovation Hub offered by The People Business Group, one of our valued Knowledge Partners. Presenter Jenny Senneck, a very skilled and knowledgeable facilitator, presented to a group of 23 Hub residents 'the art of negotiating' in business.
