Modfin partners with the Hub to support innovators and entrepreneurs

Elize Pretorius of Modfin.

Dynamic financial solutions company, Modfin has partnered with The Innovation Hub to support the efforts of high-tech innovators and entrepreneurs who are either residents at the Hub or members of the Hub's INNOV8 high-tech "intelligent community" network.

A dynamic financial solutions company, Modfin aims to provide total satisfaction to their customers by supplying a complete integration of all of computing and accounting needs.

A specific focus of Modfin's partnership with the Hub will be to add value to entrepreneurially driven South African companies by helping them develop their financial and accounting skills through the provision of practical financial advice, support, tips and mentorship.

In conjunction with Modfin - which has generously offered to provide support services free of charge to innovators and entrepreneurs (in big and small companies alike!) - the Hub will offer a new series of monthly financial support seminars.

Through its Know-How Network initiative, The Innovation Hub provides a unique "one-stop" facility for entrepreneurial and high-growth technology companies in South Africa, connecting them with an extensive range of essential business services and skills to be able to respond effectively to the particular challenges of their business and social environment. Members of the Know-How Network, who generously provide additional support to the efforts of innovators and entrepreneurs, are known as the Hub's Knowledge Partners.

Founded in June 1996, the Modfin Group was one of the first companies in the accounting software arena in South Africa with a "value-added" approach. Today, Modfin is a leading provider of financial solutions.

During 2005 Thinus Gerber CA (SA) joined forces with Modfin to expand their expertise to include audit and tax services. Thinus qualified at PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., where after he joined the University of Pretoria to assist in setting up subsidiary private companies for the University.

The Modfin Group aims to provide total satisfaction to their customers by supplying a complete integration of all of computing and accounting needs. This they achieve with strategic alliances with market leaders, specialists, software providers and through their own consultants.

Modfin's customers range from small businesses to large agricultural concerns. Regardless of size or situation, these companies have discovered that the Modfin approach is a profitable and cost saving tool and that Modfin is a strong, progressive partner.
