Speer goes the extra mile to build a spirit of cooperation

Ltr The Speer Management team Meliza Cootzee Sales Rep, Jaco Strydom Managing Director, Elize Strydom Administrative officer, Pieter Oosthuizen Business manager.

ICT company Speer, a tenant in the Enterprise Building at the Hub, has taken the initiative to promote the spirit of cooperation that exists within the Hub community with cost saving offers to all tenants currently at Hub.

Fellow tenants, BioPAD and Access Home Loans are the first to have taken advantage of the 25% discount, which applies to Speer's services ranging from business analysis, systems development and infrastructure integration to project management and finance.

According to Speer MD, Jaco Strydom, network building and service sharing such as this has always been part of the plan. "By joining The Innovation Hub family, part of Speer's aim has been to expand its partnerships to focus on continuous development and information sharing that will improve international competitiveness", he said.

BioPAD and Access Home Loans approached Speer as a potential service provider in meeting their ICT needs as a result of the Hub's communication to its community introducing new tenants as they arrive on site. The team from Speer conducted blueprints and took each company through the process of managing their individual ICT infrastructures. This resulted in the signing of twelve month contracts with the two tenants, providing them with quality proactive services which include a web-enabled help-desk and weekly visits from highly trained ICT consultants.

Strydom explains that being at the Hub gives Speer the opportunity to focus on their core business while having access to a family of innovators, feeding off one another and sharing ideas and technologies. This continuous exchange can only contribute to the strengthening of competencies of all the members of the Hub community, he says.

"As a Proudly South African company, Speer is driven by a commitment to transform the businesses of its clients through ICT services. The message we would like to send is that if any tenant is battling with their ICT processes at any time, they are more than welcome to come to Speer", Strydom concluded.
