Futurex participation generates interest in Hub activities

A key part of The Innovation Hub's marketing strategy is its annual presence at Futurex, South Africa's leading technology exhibition for the ICT and electronics industries. The event creates a forum for technology thought leaders and key business buyers to discuss business solutions critical to success in the e-business age.

Held at the Sandton Convention Centre, the Hub's high-tech stand at Futurex once again attracted substantial interest from potential investors in owner-built buildings at the new Hub precinct and prospective tenants interested in the multi-tenant Enterprise Building (click here for a full list of existing residents).

Equally encouraging was the number of enquiries received from energetic young innovators and entrepreneurs interested in The Innovation Hub's various ground-breaking incubation initiatives facilitated through its maxum Business Incubator.

Perhaps most rewarding was the number of members of the Hub's INNOV8 community who paid a visit the Hub stand.

INNOV8 is an intimate and somewhat subversive grouping of well-informed and cosmopolitan urban innovators. Through its various events, newsletters and activities INNOV8 has gained a reputation for being daring, different and determined and is now generally acknowledged as South Africa's foremost high-tech and knowledge-intensive community network.
