Digital 3D-modelling team joins The Innovation Hub community

Product Automation, is the business focus of the Automated Product Development (APD) team who recently joined the maxum Business Incubator at The Innovation Hub.

The key components of APD's business comprise the creation of a fully defined digital product, capturing product related intellectual property in a 3D CAD model. Also involved in this process is the incorporation of the products design intent, so that changing any key product parameter would automatically produce a derivative product, along with its complete data pack. Applying this tool is the exciting bit - companies using it can cut down on "downtime" by several months, which of course translates into huge savings!

APD CEO Jannie Loubser (seated centre front) and his team are now well-settled at The Innovation Hub. Product Development System Implementation Services (PDS) sees the implementation and integration of the PDS system through a well-defined sevenstep roadmap. This enables the customer to migrate from a 3D CAD system to a complete product development system. The system comprises digital content creation and all aspects of digital data management, changed management, configuration management, workflow collaboration and release to manufacturing systems.
