The Innovation Hub community is alive with innovation

Cutting-edge technology is alive and thriving at The Innovation Hub, as evidenced again recently by the exciting innovations to come from participants in this thriving high-tech community. Artificial Intelligent Products (Pty) Ltd (AIP), the latest company to join The Innovation Hub as an Associate tenant, proved its mettle shortly after moving to its new premises.

While their core business focus is on research and development of intelligent perimeter sensors, power cell technology, management software and horse monitoring, AIP also offers consultation services for security perimeter systems.

Hardly settled in their new surroundings, they reported innovative technology breakthroughs that resulted in international deals. The products developed include the +...etc (exclusively trained computer) sensor upgrades used on existing perimeter sensors, and the psd (personal safety devices) for hazardous environments.

The +...etc sensor upgrades comprise a microprocessor and a fibre communication card used to upgrade microwave perimeter sensors. These sensors have been successfully installed on a secure site near Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The site was plagued by a high incidence of false alarms from the existing security system. Since the utilisation of the +...etc sensors, the incidence of false alarms has been reduced to virtually none - leaving AIP with a very satisfied customer!

The Innovation Hub welcomes on board this trend-setting company and looks forward to sharing in many more successes.
