Street Naming Competition: Feedback and another chance to win!

Regular readers of NewsBits will be well aware of the current rapid progress that is now taking place with the development of The Innovation Hub.

You will also recall that we recently appealed to our readers' collective creative and competitive juices to participate in a street naming competition as we are getting close to choosing names for the internal streets on the site!

A very big "thank you" to all who participated so enthusiastically. As always, the quality of the contributions from the members of the community was exceptional.

The "panel" has decided to go with the proposal of naming streets at the Hub after successful South African Nobel laureates and innovators. Although there was more than one person who made this suggestion - luckily there is also more than one prize: the winners of which will be announced soon!

Although your suggestion may not have been selected as the winning one, we are now giving you an additional opportunity to have your say! We would really appreciate your suggestions about which South African innovators deserve to have a street named after them - and most importantly, why. The motivation is what will make the difference.

If you have a view, or would like to submit your suggestion/s, please e-mail to: innov8@theinnovationhub.com

The most popular choices will be announced, together with the prizewinners, in the next issue of NewsBits.
