Cooperation with Kenya highlighted during high-profile visit
A delegation from Kenya visited The Innovation Hub on 29 January 2004 as part of a Scientific and Technical collaboration between the governments of South Africa and Kenya. One of the aims of their visit was to look at academic exchange programmes and joint research projects between South Africa and Kenya.

Global trend in IT convergence on show

National entry point for incubators
The South African incubator community is launching its national body - the SA Business and Technology Incubation Association (SABTIA). SABTIA will serve as an umbrella body for incubators throughout the country. The aim is to cater for the needs of the incubator community, including forming a national body, which can lobby on behalf of its members; create a forum where knowledge affecting the incubation industry can be shared; promote best practice in business incubation; and provide a South African entry point for international business incubation associations.
