Successful Science Parks are characterised by the existence of unique business development and other value-adding services that are accessible to resident companies and contribute to their sustainability over the long-term.

As an initiative to enhance the innovative and growth capacity of companies in the local economy, The Innovation Hub provides these value-added services through customised structures. One of the key aspects of these services is access to "five star" value-added support for high-tech ventures - including to world-class professional business support services, as well as regular training, coaching and mentoring activities covering all aspects of starting and managing a high-growth business.

Through its Know-How Network initiative, The Innovation Hub provides a unique "one-stop" facility in South Africa for entrepreneurial and high-growth technology companies, connecting them with an extensive range of essential business services and skills to be able to respond effectively to the particular challenges of their business and social environment.

The Know-How Network is a listing of professional service providers who offer services and skills of value to both companies and individuals that make up the local technology-rich, knowledge-intensive and innovation-driven community.

Members of the Know-How Network, who generously provide additional support to the efforts of innovators and entrepreneurs, are known as the Hub's Knowledge Partners. At present, these include:
