Software development made easy
Bringing relief to frustrated office managers is the aim of a World Wide Objects, designers of a software development system that makes software development according to a specific company's needs as easy as pie.
World Wide Objects, a new associate company at The Innovation Hub, consists of five partners who have been developing and marketing this unique, dynamic software development system. With this system, a company's software can easily be adapted to suit its specific needs, and it makes totally obsolete the expensive, long processes of developing company-specific software. "With our product, companies can now dictate what the software should do for them. They no longer have to adjust the way they run their businesses to the software packages they use," says Johan van der Spuy.
The company, which van der Spuy started from home 10 years ago, now has many large clients, both locally and abroad. They are distributors of this software to the first world military. Locally, they have developed systems for the Tshwane municipality, Deloitte & Touche, as well as several medical and other dedicated systems.

The World Wide Objects system gives companies an edge by being able to change its software system according to new management needs while it is in use, and without the need for the company to employ programmers to facilitate the changes. Software solutions are developed from the micro to the macro picture, and not the other way around as with current systems, where you need to know your end result before you can design your database.
World Wide Objects is a growing company with the aim of developing an even more advanced product. Other members of the company include business analyst Roy Herselman, and ex-professor of operations research Peter Salemink, five product developers, and two marketers and a solutions developer whose task is to fit product to customer.
