Visitors to the Hub
Hub introduces visitors to pilot activities
The Innovation Hub management team recently received representatives of the Gauteng Provincial Government's Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on their first visit to the Hub. The Committee recently consolidated its programme for the third and fourth quarters of 2002 and identified the Blue IQ projects, including The Innovation Hub, as a priority focus area for it to effectively carry out its constitutional oversight mandate.

The visit provided the Hub team with the opportunity to provide Committee members with an update on the infrastructure development of the project and introduce them to the pilot activities that have been launched at its temporary premises. These included interactions with students in the ITCoachLab, and representatives of companies participating the pre-incubation and incubation programmes at The Innovation Hub.
