PRECINCT CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT:
Yet Another First for The Innovation Hub

On Friday, 6 March 2009, on land parcel 21, a Memorandum of Agreement for the establishment of a world class Aviation Medicine Facility at The Innovation Hub was signed by our acting CEO Mr. Tsietsi Maleho, Acting Secretary of Defence Mr. Tsepe Motumi and the Chief Director Military Health Force Support, Major General Lifeni Make.

On a stormy Friday at 10h00 in the morning, members from TIHMC, the team from Icexpress Progressive Prosthetics, as well as representatives from SAMA, Vodacom, Jacaranda 94.2, Beeld, and Pretoria News gather at The Innovation Hub. The occasion: to meet Berno Haarhoff, an impressive young man from Belfast and future Para Olympian.

Busi Ngwenya, Business Support Coordinator for the Maxum Business Incubator, said it best, “the Mother is leaving the nest”.

From chasing the numbers to receiving 48 applicant submissions and short listing 23 candidates to attend the Femtech Programme at The Innovation Hub, the process has been exhilarating.
