Situated between the University of Pretoria and the CSIR, The Innovation Hub is a quick commute to and from Johannesburg, the Oliver Tambo International Airport, and the Pretoria city centre. Open air spaces for relaxed entertaining

The lobby of the conference facilities is a smartly conceived space with flexible functionality for your event or function. Use it as a reception, refreshment, or cocktail area, or extend your activities onto the cobblestone patio.

The Innovation Hub's piazza is also available for outdoor events. This 2 500 m² area, between the striking glass, metal, and stone structures of The Innovation Hub's core buildings, is linked to the on-site restaurant and can accommodate up to 500 people.

Showcase your organisation

A 100 m² of customised exhibition space with rotating stainless steel mesh display panels, is available in the foyer of the Innovation Centre, adjacent to the conference facilities. Horizontal flat surfaces create space for equipment, while display hooks are provided for exhibiting promotional material. Each panel provides an exhibitor with 2 m² floor space with 3-phase power and data links.

Catering for the discerning palate

The Europa@Hub restaurant that looks out over the piazza, is a perfect setting for meeting and entertaining clients, or networking with Hub tenants. In addition to the business breakfasts and lunch menu, cosmopolitan cuisine and contemporary South African dishes are available for all types of events, and are included in a range of competitive conference packages,

The Innovation Hub's conference facilities provide cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art functionality including touch panel control, surround sound, data projectors, screens, whiteboards, network/ ISDN connectivity, VCR, DSTV, and presentation capabilities.

• Auditoria
  The two auditoria, with flat floor configuration provide cinema seating for 170 and 80 people respectively and combined cinema seating capacity of 250, are suitable for business events, seminars and functions. Both auditoria are linked to the foyer that opens onto the outdoor patio.
  
  
• Boardrooms, conference rooms and 'hot offices'
  Two of the three boardrooms that each seat 12 people, can be combined into one room with a seating capacity of 24. The conference rooms are equipped with drop-down screens and network connections. The four 'hot offices' provide temporary and short-term office space with plug-and-play connectivity, security, and privacy.
  
  
• Video conferencing
  The ISDN/IP-supported video conferencing facility, with its keypad-based three-way communications control system, is supported by two motorised screens and built-in microphones.

The conference facilities offer a disabled-friendly, environment of international standards with ramp access, designated drop-off areas, special parking bays, and other related facilities.

Ample free and secure parking is available for up to 500 vehicles. In addition to the 24/7 high-tech access control, web-enabled, computerised facility management and digital CCTV camera monitoring of the entire precinct, The Innovation Hub is patrolled by security guards on horse-back.
