There is a need for small and medium entrepreneurs to access information and finance in order to enhance their own personal skills and to ensure the success of their enterprises.
Exhibitions in this country are being recognised as a powerful marketing tool, but there is an increasing trend to link conferences to exhibitions in a joint platform. This is what is proposed for the "Showcase Your Business" Conference/Exhibition in September 2008 aims to be a premier event of this nature.
Entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to spend time with the exhibitors discussing areas of mutual interest.

Entertainment is of paramount importance and the organisers aim to create an event that will be remembered as one which contributed hugely to the growth of entrepreneurs in Gauteng and then nationally as the concept is rolled out.
The conference will offer an opportunity for 100 SMMEs to exhibit, and 500 people overall to participate in five full days of games, talks, seminars, hot table events, workshops - an active and fun approach to building an SMME community. There will also be packages of tools and training provided that will allow visitors to the expo to leave having tangible results for their business in hand.
