BioPAD is sponsoring 10 students to attend the Bio2Biz SA 2008 Conference at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg from 15-17 September 2008.
To be considered for sponsorship, BioPAD requires the submission of a 3-page essay from students registered in the Life Sciences faculties at Higher Education Institutions within the BioPAD regions (Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga and Limpopo).
The essay must outline how the students would go about commercialising their current Life Sciences project. It is crucial that the subject matter of the essay be related to the project for which they are currently registered. BioPAD seeks novel, robust ideas on how, if given the opportunity, their project may be commercialised.
